This self guided tour takes riders along both paved and gravel roads departing Mt. Hood and continuing on through Sisters, Grants Pass and north up the Oregon Coastal Range to Astoria. Along the way you are treated to plenty of great riding and view after view of sights like Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Crater Lake, several covered bridges, back country farms and fields, lush forest and finally the headwaters of the Columbia River from several hundred feet above. Go where street bikes and cars can never go and enjoy a ride you'll never forget. From the steep grades of Johnson Mountain Road, to the ultra twisty pavement of Forest Service 17 on the coast, there's no end to the varied riding we put together for this ride. Goodbye I-5, no more I-84, so long US 97 - you won't find them here!
